The KA-BAR/Dozier Skeleton knife is a no-nonsense, lightweight knife that can be worn as a neck knife or concealed in a pocket or pack. The blade and handle are made of 5Cr15 stainless steel, which has good sharpening properties and exceptional corrosion resistance. 2.625" is a great size for a blade on a neck knife and the drop point shape is versatile enough for this to be considered an EDC blade. Besides being versatile, an EDC also needs to be comfortable to carry and KA-BAR aimed to do that by using skeletonized handles to make the knife as light as possible. A sturdy hard plastic sheath comes included that features an opening towards the top for a lanyard.
